Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Rennes


Graduate School of Chemistry in Rennes offers a two-year international undergraduate chemistry program (CHEM.I.ST. : Chemistry International Studies) within the Fédération Gay-Lussac (FGL), a network of 20 French graduate schools of chemistry and chemical engineering located throughout France with a wide range of specialties.

CHEM.I.ST PROGRAMME’S HIGHLIGHTS :

a small class of students in a multicultural and multilinguistic context

a high-level scientific training in chemistry, physics, mathematics

an outstanding general knowledge approach including intensive courses of French as a foreign language and courses dealing with the main cultural, geo-economic, and industrial issues of today’s world

After two years’ studies in the “ CHEM.I.ST ”. program, the students who have fulfilled the examination requirements will be directly admitted to one of the 20 Graduate Schools of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering member of the Federation Gay-Lussac (FGL) in order to earn in three more years the French “ Diplôme d’Ingénieur ”, graduate engineering degree, as well as a Master’s degree in chemistry and chemical engineering. After the “ CHEM.I.ST. ” program, the students admitted to the Schools of the Fédération Gay-Lussac will benefit from a wide range of international opportunities, including industrial training periods and studies abroad. Typically, they can spend part of their studies in the partner universities in Europe, America or Asia in order to earn a double degree: Master of Science and the French “ Diplôme d’Ingénieur
